LEGO 40899 Astro Bot for €19.99, available directly from PlayStation
This morning, we received a pretty good tip through our community: Our user Marii pointed out to us that she had found the LEGO 40899 Astro Bot is currently available for purchase directly from PlayStation Direct for 19.99 €.
This is particularly interesting because the little Astro Bot is being promoted as a free bonus that comes with the large LEGO PlayStation set. But if you just want Astro Bot, you don’t necessarily have to buy the large set. At PlayStation Direct, the LEGO 40899 Astro Bot is listed as a standalone product for €19.99.

Important: You’ll need a Sony account to make a purchase as a buyer.
You’ll need to sign in to the PlayStation Direct page to make a purchase. This means you’ll need a Sony/PlayStation account. Once you’ve done that, you can order the Astro Bot right away, as long as it’s available.
The set consists of 276 pieces and is officially intended for adults 18 and older. The head and arms are movable, and the eyes can be swapped out to create different facial expressions.
The PlayStation GWP promotion is running at the same time
From October 1 to 7, 2026, PlayStation will also be running the main promotion for the LEGO 40899 Astro Bot. If you add the large LEGO PlayStation building set and Astro Bot to your cart together and purchase them in a single transaction, you’ll receive Astro Bot at no additional cost. According to PlayStation, the discount will be automatically applied at checkout, and the promotion is valid only while supplies last.
However, if you only want Astro Bot, I think the option to buy it separately for €19.99 is much more appealing. That way, you don’t have to add a much more expensive set to your cart just to get the bonus item.
Still, be sure to compare prices briefly beforehand
As always, even though the price is reasonable, I’d take a quick look at the Brick-Tracker. Especially with special products like these, availability at different sellers can change quickly.

My Conclusion
For me, this is definitely the more appealing option if you really just want Astro Bot. I think €19.99 for 276 pieces is totally reasonable for a small licensed display set like this—and, most importantly, you don’t have to buy a big PlayStation set just to get it.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Marii from our community once again for the tip this morning. It’s exactly tips like these that make Telegram, Discord, and our community so invaluable these days.
