This is immediately interesting to me, since I collect these cars myself and got started back then with the orange <strong>LEGO Technic 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>The Koenigsegg will be released on July 1, 2026; it consists of <strong>4<\/strong> <strong>,<\/strong> <strong>104 pieces<\/strong> and has <strong>a MSRP of \u20ac449.99.<\/strong> I wouldn\u2019t buy it at the MSRP, though. I also think the angular design is a success. Some fans even prefer the LEGO version to the real-life model\u2014and I can see why.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In terms of technical specifications, the model features a V8 engine, a 9-speed transmission, triplex suspension, and what\u2019s known as \u201cGhost Mode.\u201d In this mode, the trunk, doors, and hood open simultaneously, while the side mirrors fold in. <\/p>\n\n<p>Plus, the car doesn&#8217;t need any stickers. Especially for a model in this price range, that&#8217;s a real plus for me. <\/p>\n\n<h2>Pros: Here&#8217;s why the Koenigsegg is a good choice<\/h2>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>a bold and elegant color combination<\/li>\n  <li>fits perfectly with the existing 1:8 Collection<\/li>\n  <li>4,104 parts and complex construction<\/li>\n  <li>9-speed transmission and working Ghost Mode<\/li>\n  <li>No stickers<\/li>\n  <li>Large display model, 59 cm long<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>Cons: Price and well-known Technic weaknesses<\/h2>\n\n<p>The MSRP of \u20ac449.99 is, of course, the biggest point of criticism. The set will most likely be available at a significantly lower price later on. That\u2019s why the steering wheel giveaway at launch isn\u2019t a reason for me to pay full price.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The visible blue pins are also a bit of an eyesore on a black display model. Some people would later replace them with black pins. Furthermore, the concept now seems a bit overused to some: a large licensed car, engine, transmission, steering\u2014but no lights and no engine.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The headlights have also been criticized for looking a bit plain compared to the rest of the car.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Buy now or wait for a discount?<\/h2>\n\n<p>For collectors of this series, the Koenigsegg is practically a must-have. Still, I&#8217;d wait. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>My price ranges:<\/strong><br\/>449.99 \u20ac: only for die-hard day-one buyers.<br\/>Under 350 \u20ac: starting to look interesting.<br\/>Around 300 \u20ac: a good price range.<br\/>270 to 290 \u20ac: this is where I\u2019d jump on it myself.<\/p>\n\n<p>And if you don&#8217;t absolutely need a new set, you should also check out the secondhand market. I bought my Bugatti Chiron secondhand a few years ago for just 80 \u20ac, because apparently no one wanted it. For that price, it was an incredible bargain.  <\/p>\n\n<h2>My Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n<p>I like the <strong>LEGO Technic 42232 Koenigsegg Sadair\u2019s Spear<\/strong> much better than some of the recent models. The colors look classy, the features work well, and it makes a great addition to the Collection. <\/p>\n\n<p>For me, the pros clearly outweigh the cons. The only downside is that the MSRP is once again too high. If you can wait, you should be able to get the set later for well under 300 \u20ac.
