Now the time has finally come: The strictly limited-edition <strong>Steiff Pikachu<\/strong> has been officially unveiled. The Pikachu features the typical, high-quality craftsmanship for which Steiff has been known for decades, and successfully combines this with Pikachu\u2019s distinctive design. Despite being a plush toy, the Pok\u00e9mon is instantly recognizable and, at the same time, looks like a classic Steiff collector\u2019s item.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The pre-release begins on July 24<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We now also know when the exclusive pre-release will begin. <br\/>The pre-sale event starts on <strong>July 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong> Starting at that time, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to purchase one of the first <strong>350 numbered copies<\/strong> of the limited edition. <br\/>You can find all further information about the pre-release event schedule, attending in person in Munich, and the special raffle for <strong>number 0025<\/strong> in my previous blog post. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>There had already been a similar collaboration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interestingly, this isn\u2019t the first collaboration between <strong>Steiff and Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong>. <br\/>A few years ago, an exclusive Steiff Pikachu was released for the Japanese market in collaboration with <strong>Good Smile Company<\/strong>. Some deals on eBay even reach <strong>\u20ac4,000 or more<\/strong>. <br\/>Of course, no one can predict today whether the new European edition will follow a similar trajectory.
