It\u2019s best not to wait until the last day to do this. Just back everything up first\u2014we can figure out what to do with it later, at our leisure.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, we at Brick-Tracker are already working on something for exactly that purpose. Brick-Tracker is preparing a direct import feature.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A bulk import feature for larger LEGO collections and Investments has actually been on our list for quite some time. We&#8217;re working on implementing the appropriate bulk import feature for Brick-Tracker as soon as possible.   <br\/>Not just for Investments\u2014but also for your LEGO Collection<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perhaps some of you have actually only known our Investment Tool as a way to manage your LEGO investments.  <br\/>But you can just as easily use it as a regular collection tool.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There, you can enter your sets and quantities, save your respective purchase prices, and even record multiple purchases of the same set. Your average purchase price is then automatically calculated based on this information. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, the big advantage over a simple inventory list is the integration with the Brick-Tracker&#8217;s price data.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This way, you can not only see which LEGO sets you own, but also track the current value of your entire Collection or Investment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, you can, among other things:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* manage your LEGO sets and the number of pieces,<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* Enter purchase prices,<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* record multiple purchases of a set,<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* have the average purchase price calculated,<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* track the current value of your Collection,<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* View profit and return<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* and track the performance of your entire portfolio on a single chart.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brick-tracker.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/39bdd201-9967-4366-9758-c0b60a52591a.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"529\" height=\"144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brick-tracker.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/39bdd201-9967-4366-9758-c0b60a52591a.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brick-tracker.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/39bdd201-9967-4366-9758-c0b60a52591a.jpeg 529w, https:\/\/www.brick-tracker.de\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/39bdd201-9967-4366-9758-c0b60a52591a-300x82.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Especially with larger collections, this gives you a whole new perspective on exactly what\u2019s on your shelves or in storage and what the total value of it all is now.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Connect Your Wishlist, Deal Alerts, and Portfolio<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me personally, one of the biggest advantages of the Brick-Tracker these days is that its individual features are becoming increasingly integrated with one another.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, you can find a LEGO set in our Price Comparison tool and then add it to your Wishlist. There, you can set a target price or target discount. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As soon as the set reaches this price, Brick-Tracker can automatically notify you of the corresponding deal.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you&#8217;ve made your purchase, you can immediately add the set to your Investment or portfolio tracking tool and use it to track its value and return over the long term.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, I use the Wishlist as my digital EOL list. That&#8217;s where I put sets I want to buy before they reach their EOL. As soon as one of them reaches my desired discount, Brick-Tracker automatically notifies me.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This essentially creates a complete process: find a set, monitor it, buy it at the right price, and then manage it in your own portfolio.  <br\/>The bulk import fits perfectly with the current redesign<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fact that the bulk import feature is being released right now actually fits in quite well with the work currently underway behind the scenes at Brick-Tracker.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are currently migrating large parts of the Brick-Tracker to a new database structure. In doing so, we are also laying the technical foundation for our upcoming Marketplace.   <br\/>Bulk import can therefore be combined quite well with these tasks.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We want to make the transition as easy as possible, especially for former myBrickDepot users.  <br\/>In the long term, this should result in a complete cycle within the Brick-Tracker: finding sets, monitoring prices, buying them, managing them in your own portfolio, and, if necessary, reselling them later through the Brick-Tracker Marketplace.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, once again, here is my most important piece of advice for everyone currently using myBrickDepot:<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Export your inventory now and keep the file in a safe place.  <br\/>You won&#8217;t have to start manually re-entering your entire Collection somewhere right away.
