LEGO at Rossmann: 40% off 9 sets—and two exclusive models!

LEGO Loyalty Promotion at Rossmann

So, Rossmann is currently running a LEGO promotion that actually made me do a double-take. A 40% discount on select LEGO sets sounds really good at first. On top of that, there are nine promotional items and even two models that Rossmann explicitly advertises as exclusive. But as is so often the case, the catch is in the fine print: You don’t just automatically get the discount on your next purchase.

The most important details at a glance

40% off a selected LEGO promotional item after earning 20 loyalty points. You earn one point for every €5 spent. The promotion runs through January 3, 2027, and the redeemed coupon is valid through January 31, 2027 —subject to the official terms and conditions and while promotional products are available.

These nine LEGO sets are included in the Rossmann promotion

This makes the promotion even more fun: Instead of just talking about a 40% coupon, let’s take a look at the sets that are actually on the promotional display. I’ve picked out four of them for you, complete with product images—most notably Eevee, the red panda, and the Star Wars mech.

Important: The discount applies to one selected set per purchase, not to the entire order. The images link directly to our Brick-Tracker Price Comparison. The product images shown are loaded by Brick-Tracker.
LEGO Pokémon Eevee – LEGO Set 72151

LEGO Pokémon Eevee (72151)

For many Pokémon fans, this is likely one of the most interesting sets in the promotion. I’d definitely recommend comparing the final price at Rossmann with the current market price.

A small Star Wars mech with a Clone Shock Trooper. Especially with affordable sets, it’s worth looking at the actual euro amount rather than just the percentage.

These five sets are also participating

The selection is even a little wider: It also includes the LEGO Speed Champions Time Machine from *Back to the Future* (77256), LEGO NINJAGO Zilvar on his dragon mount Grimtak (71863), LEGO Minecraft Steve’s Adventure in the Taiga (21583), LEGO DUPLO Creative Vehicles (10474), and LEGO Botanicals Sunflowers (11502). Just click on the set you’re interested in to see how the Rossmann price really stacks up against retail prices.

My tip: First, figure out which of the nine sets you’re actually interested in, and then compare prices. Especially with Eevee and the red panda, I wouldn’t buy them just because of the big “40” on the promotional sign.

How do you get the 40% discount?

The process is actually quite simple—you just need to know how it works. First, you’ll need the Rossmann app and have to sign up for the loyalty program. Then, you’ll earn points on your purchases: one point for every 5 € spent. Once you’ve earned 20 points, the 40% coupon will appear in the app. Activate it and redeem it when purchasing a participating LEGO product at a participating store.

Conversely, this means that anyone who doesn’t have any points yet must first reach a qualifying purchase total of 100 €. This isn’t an additional fee, but it’s obviously different from a regular discount promotion. Anyone who shops at Rossmann regularly anyway is likely to be more relaxed about this than someone who’s just stopping by for a LEGO set.

Is a 46% discount even possible?

Yes, mathematically speaking, that’s possible: Rossmann explicitly allows this loyalty promotion to be combined with the general 10% off everything coupon, provided that a valid coupon is available and the respective conditions are met. The discounts are calculated one after the other, not simply added together.

Sample calculation based on a starting price of 50 €

Regular price

€50.00
After 40%

€30.00
Plus 10%

€27.00

You save a total of 23 €—that’s 46% off the original retail price. However, this does not necessarily mean that the price is 46% below LEGO’s MSRP.

My assessment: 40% is good—but it doesn’t automatically mean it’s the best price

You know me: When it comes to LEGO, I don’t just look at the big discount sign. What really matters is what the set actually costs in the end. After all, a seller can offer a 40% discount on a price that was already higher than the lowest market price.

That’s why, especially when it comes to LEGO Investments, I don’t think the promotion is universally good or bad. For a popular set, a good final price can be appealing. But for a model that other stores are already selling for significantly less, that nice 40% sticker doesn’t help me much. And if I have to earn points to get it, I naturally factor that in as well.

I find the promotion even more exciting for the two models advertised as exclusive. But even there, I wouldn’t jump at the opportunity blindly; instead, I’d first compare the actual demand and the price. After all, exclusive distribution alone doesn’t automatically make a set an Investment.

How long does the Rossmann promotion last?

According to the official terms and conditions, you can continue to earn loyalty points through January 3, 2027. The 40% off coupon can be redeemed at participating stores through January 31, 2027. The selected LEGO products are available only while supplies last. So, especially when it comes to certain popular sets, I wouldn’t count on them still being on the shelves by the last day of the promotion.

My Conclusion

I think Rossmann has put together an interesting promotion here. Nine different LEGO products, two explicitly advertised exclusive models, and a discount of up to 46%—that could definitely be worth it. The catch is the 20 loyalty points. If you’ve already collected those, you should definitely take a closer look at the LEGO selection. On the other hand, if you’d have to spend €100 just to unlock the coupon, you should do the math carefully.

Have you started collecting points at Rossmann yet? And which of the nine sets would you choose? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. I’m especially curious to see how quickly the exclusive models will sell out in stores.
