Free LEGO Spaceship on September 22 and 23
This September, there’s another small, free LEGO Store promotion that should be especially appealing to families with children. On September 22 and 23, 2026, you can build a small LEGO spaceship at participating LEGO Stores and take it home for free.
The event will take place on both days from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Here’s How “Make & Take” Works
As is usual with these promotions, quantities are limited. LEGO itself says: “First come, first served.” So if you really want this model, I wouldn’t wait until just before 5 p.m. to show up at the store.

It’s that last point in particular that makes these “make-and-take” events so nice. The little spaceship isn’t a kit that you can just order from the store later. Anyone who participates builds it right there on the spot and takes it home afterward.
A nice promotion for a quick visit to the LEGO Store
I wouldn’t go out of my way for this. But if you have a LEGO Store nearby anyway, or if you want to take the kids on a little outing, it’s definitely a good idea to stop by for a free building session.
The model itself is rather small and simple, but that’s not really the point of these kinds of events. You build something on the spot, take it home for free, and end up with a small model that you can’t buy anywhere else.
