LEGO has unveiled a brand-new set from the LEGO Editions series. This time, the collaboration with Nike enters its next phase, and one of the most iconic sneakers of all time is getting its own LEGO version: the Nike Air Force 1 x LEGO (43026).
The set will be released on September 1, 2026, for an MSRP of 99.99 euros. It consists of 1,093 pieces and is intended for fans ages 12 and up.
Let’s take a look at what’s included in the set.

The Nike Air Force 1 as a LEGO model
The set is based on the legendary Nike Air Force 1, which was first released in 1982. For this version, however, LEGO didn’t just build the white sneaker—it incorporated it directly into a small scene.
The white Air Force 1 soars upward like a rocket and sits atop a multicolored “rocket plume.” Beneath it is a gray plinth designed to resemble the surface of the moon. LEGO itself describes the entire piece as a “rocket blast stand and moon surface plinth” featuring the iconic AF1 footprint.
Next to it is the large, built-up “AF1” lettering, making it immediately clear which shoe takes center stage here.
The sneaker itself
The Air Force 1 features its classic white design throughout.
Some of Nike’s signature design elements have also been incorporated. The Nike Air logo appears on the tongue, and the brand’s signature branding has been incorporated in other places as well.
I especially like the printed insole, which features both the LEGO and Nike logos. This adds details to the shoe in places you probably wouldn’t notice right away when just looking at it on display.
In general, the sneaker is designed to be stylized rather than built to exact scale. But that’s exactly the intended approach with this set: LEGO itself describes it as a stylized tribute to the legendary silhouette of the Air Force 1.
The Platform and the Basketball Feature
The second major component of the set is the platform.
As mentioned earlier, it looks as if the Air Force 1 is just taking off from the surface of the moon. Added to that is the large, built-up AF1 logo.
And that’s where the set’s actual play feature is hidden.
Next to the lettering is a basketball hoop, and the set also includes a classic white LEGO Space astronaut Minifigure in a Nike-style outfit. Using a small rotating wheel, you can move the figure and have it perform a 360-degree dunk. The figure also has an interchangeable head.
I actually think that’s a pretty cool idea. It’s not just a display model—it also has a little feature built in that brings together Nike, basketball, and the classic LEGO Space universe.
And there’s no question about it: for me personally, the Minifigure is the highlight of the entire set.

This isn’t the first LEGO x Nike collaboration
Of course, the Air Force 1 is by no means the first set to come out of the collaboration between LEGO and Nike.
In the past, releases have included the Nike Dunk x LEGO, the Nike Dunk Trickshot, the Nike Slam Dunk, and the Nike Air Max 95 x LEGO, among others.
The new Air Force 1 thus joins what has become a fairly large series of basketball-, sneaker-, and streetwear-inspired LEGO models.
And the Air Force 1, of course, fits right in. If you’re building a larger LEGO-Nike collection, one of the brand’s most iconic sneakers really can’t be left out.
My Conclusion
For Nike fans and fashion enthusiasts in general, this model is definitely an eye-catcher.
As I mentioned before, my personal favorite is definitely the Minifigure. I really like the classic space astronaut in the Nike look, and the little Dunk feature is a nice touch.
When it comes to the shoe itself, however, I’m a bit torn.
To me, the Air Force 1 in this version is a little too small and minimalist. Especially since the shoe is supposed to be the centerpiece of the set, I personally would have liked to see a little more detail.
The design of the gray lunar surface doesn’t really blow me away either. It serves its purpose, and the idea behind the AF1 footprint is nice, of course, but to me, the base as a whole seems a bit generic.
That said, the overall design—with the large “AF1” lettering, the shoe’s “rocket launch” look, and its basketball features—is definitely creative.
For me personally, though, it’s still one of those sets that doesn’t really offer me any added value, so it won’t be joining my Collection.
But of course, I’m happy for every Nike or sneaker fan who’s been hoping for exactly this kind of design and wants to display the Air Force 1 on their shelf as a collectible in the future.
