LEGO Star Wars Meets Marvel: First Official Ideas Crossover Launched

LEGO Star Wars × Marvel Ideas Crossover

This is a combination that, until now, has mostly existed only in fan ideas: LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Marvel are officially coming together for the first time in a joint LEGO Ideas challenge.

The LEGO Group announced the campaign on October 10, 2026, at New York Comic Con. Fans can now submit their own designs that combine characters, vehicles, or scenes from both universes.

Three Categories for the Star Wars and Marvel Crossover

For the new LEGO Ideas Challenge, there are three theme categories to choose from: vehicles, characters, or scenes. The task is to combine well-known elements from Star Wars and Marvel into a new, combined model.

What’s particularly exciting is that this isn’t just a creative community initiative. LEGO has explicitly announced that selected favorites will become official LEGO products after the voting concludes.

Why this is special for LEGO fans

LEGO is bringing together two of its biggest licensed universes for the first time in a LEGO Ideas challenge. That alone is sure to attract a lot of attention, since Star Wars and Marvel each have a very large collector and fan base.

The campaign also ties in with the upcoming Star Wars/Marvel comic crossover , *Hope Assembles *. This project was announced in celebration of the 50th anniversary of *Star Wars* in 2027 and is set to launch in January.

Voting begins in December

The challenge is already open. Voting on the submitted models is scheduled to begin on December 8, 2026. The selection of the grand prize winners is scheduled for next year.

This means we’re likely to see some unusual designs in the coming weeks. Especially with two such well-known themed worlds, it wouldn’t be surprising if certain ideas quickly garnered a lot of attention within the community.

What kind of official set could result from this?

That is exactly what remains to be seen at this point. LEGO is deliberately not naming any finished models or specific set numbers. Therefore, the challenge should not be confused with a product announcement that has already been finalized.

What will be interesting, however, is which ideas gain traction within the community and which of those LEGO ultimately selects for release.

Brick-Tracker: Keep Track of New Sets and Prices

As soon as the challenge results in specific sets with confirmed set numbers, we’ll track them in Brick-Tracker as usual. Via the Brick-Tracker App Overview , you’ll find Price Comparisons, a Wishlist, Price Alerts, live deals, and our community channels all in one place.

Especially with new license sets, it’s often worth not only looking at the eventual MSRP but also comparing the initial retailer prices after the product launches.

My Conclusion

The fact that Star Wars and Marvel are teaming up on LEGO Ideas is especially exciting because it will actually lead to official products. It’s not yet clear which models will ultimately be chosen—but the potential for unusual crossover sets is definitely there.

The selection of fan designs is likely to grow rapidly leading up to the vote in December. I’m curious to see which combinations end up getting the most votes.
