1) What do the “3 for 2” deals on Amazon mean?
In France, Spain, and Italy, Amazon runs a promotion several times a year where you buy 3 LEGO sets but only pay for 2. This results in a significant discount.
Note: Shipping fees apply to orders placed on Amazon FR, IT, and ES.
Here are the names of the local promotions:
Amazon France: “Achetez-en 3, payez-en 2”
Amazon Italy: “Acquista 3 paghi 2”
Amazon Spain: “Compra 3 paga 2”

2) Why does the Brick-Tracker display prices as .99 cents?
In the Price Comparison feature, prices are currently rounded down internally and displayed as .99. Background: Some stores used to change their prices frequently by 1 cent—which used to result in too many notifications. Rounding down keeps your feed quiet.
Important: In the Live Deals (app, WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram), you’ll always see the actual store prices.

3) How is the Brick-Tracker funded?
Brick-Tracker is funded exclusively through affiliate revenue. If you make a purchase through a deal at a store, Brick-Tracker receives a small commission—at no additional cost to you. This revenue covers server costs, further development, and data maintenance.

4) How do the Brick-Tracker filters work?
Use the filters to quickly find exactly what interests you:
- Theme World (e.g., Star Wars, Technic, City, Harry Potter, Speed Champions )
- Stores & Discount Levels (e.g., > 35%)
- Price ranges (under €50, €50–100, €100–200, € > 200)
- Deep Search: EOL, POV, Exclusive, Number of Parts, New Products

5) How do you read price charts?
The charts show the best price trend for a set over time (not the average price). Investors can see that shortly before EOL, discounts decrease and fewer sellers often list the product—an indicator of scarcity.

6) LEGO Price per Brick – Useful or Just a Rough Guide?
The price per brick (PpS) is a guideline, not a measure of quality. Large pieces (e.g., UCS) increase the PpS, while many small pieces lower it. Context is key: theme, piece types, minifigures, and exclusivity.

7) What does “Part-Out Value” (POV) mean?
The POV is the sum of the individual part prices in a set (based on BrickLink data, updated regularly). If the POV consistently exceeds the MSRP, this may indicate potential—especially if the set includes exclusive Minifigures.
Understanding POV & Minifigure Value
8) How can you tell the value of Minifigures?
Exclusive figures (e.g., from Star Wars) often drive the secondary market. A Minifigure from a €20 set can cost €20–30 after a few years—which directly affects the set’s value.
9) What does EOL (End of Life) mean at LEGO?
EOL means: The set is no longer in production. Many sets run for 1–3 years; some are extended. For collectors and investors, the period leading up to EOL is exciting (fewer sellers, lower discounts, and in some cases rising prices).
10) Is the Brick-Tracker also available as an app?
Yes. The app sends push notifications the moment your target price is reached—without any spam. You can customize categories, discount thresholds, and stores (including in the web app).
11) How much data is stored in the Brick-Tracker?
Currently, the following are being recorded, among other things: >3,500 sets >120,000 prices from around 40 retailers – updated every minute to every 15 minutes (depending on the shop). Price charts are based on the best prices per day.
