Two new LEGO Botanicals sets have been unveiled—11512 and 11513. Get all the details here!

Hey.

LEGO has officially unveiled two new Botanicals sets, and today we’re taking a closer look at them. Both sets will be released on August 1, 2026; they’re already available for pre-order and—like the rest of the Botanicals sets—are aimed at adult builders.

LEGO Hanging Ivy Plant (11512)

The Hanging Ivy Plant is the first of the two newly introduced sets. As the name suggests, it features an ivy plant in a simple white flowerpot with a small brown wooden stand as a decorative element.
It’s immediately apparent that LEGO didn’t just use a single shade of green for the leaves. Some of the leaves are a classic green, while others feature a light lime green at the tips. This makes the plant look much more natural and varied.

As befits a true ivy plant, the individual tendrils hang down beautifully. This makes the plant ideal for wall shelves, sideboards, or taller cabinets, where it can let its tendrils hang down easily.
LEGO even describes two different ways to display the model. On the one hand, you can let the long vines hang down freely; on the other hand, you can trim them slightly or arrange them differently so that the plant looks more compact.

Measuring 18 cm high, 41 cm wide, and 40 cm deep, the set appears larger at first glance than the number of pieces would suggest. This is, of course, mainly due to the long, trailing vines.

LEGO Dark Flower Arrangement (11513)

Let’s now move on to the second set featured here.

I really like the Dark Flower Arrangement right from the start. Instead of the usually bright, spring-like colors, LEGO has opted for much darker shades this time, which makes the model a perfect fit for fall or winter, in my opinion.
According to LEGO, the arrangement includes, among other things, dark tulips, roses, an anemone, a petunia, a dahlia, a sky-blue gypsophila, heartleaf, and other leaves in shades of dark green.

Many of these flowers are actually very easy to recognize. I think the tulips and the roses are particularly well done. Overall, the result is a truly harmonious composition.
The entire flower arrangement stands on a black base. The individual flowers are secured with small brown holders and can be positioned as desired. This allows everyone to arrange their own flower arrangement slightly differently.

My Conclusion

I’m actually always excited when LEGO introduces new sets from the Botanicals line. This theme has become one of my absolute favorite LEGO lines, so I was really looking forward to seeing these two models when they were unveiled.

One thing that immediately struck me as a negative, however, was the price of the hanging ivy plants.
€59.99 for just 372 pieces works out to a price of over 16 cents per brick. That’s a really high price for the Botanicals series. In my opinion, €30 would have been a more reasonable price for this set. Visually, I really like it, and I can easily imagine the plant trailing down from a shelf or a tall dresser. Price-wise, however, it’s far too expensive for me personally.

The situation is quite different with the dark flower arrangement.

I really like this model. It finally brings some darker colors to the Botanicals line, making it stand out nicely from the previous floral arrangements. I can really picture this set as a wonderful decoration, especially in the fall or winter. I also particularly like that the arrangement can be displayed directly on its base without needing an additional vase.

Of course, botanists would probably point out that the selection of flowers isn’t entirely botanically accurate. After all, tulips, roses, anemones, and dahlias don’t all bloom at the same time of year. For a LEGO display model, however, I don’t think that matters much. The overall look is harmonious, and that’s what ultimately matters.
The second set also makes a much better impression in terms of price. While 562 pieces for €59.99 isn’t exactly outstanding, it’s still within an acceptable range for a Botanicals set. While the first waves of the Botanicals series did offer even better value for the money, I can still live with this price much more easily than with the Ivy Plant.

Another important point, of course, is that both sets will in all likelihood also be available on the open market. As a result, the first discounts are likely to appear after just a short time. That’s when both models will become even more appealing.

Conclusion

Of the two new products, my personal favorite is definitely the Dark Flower Arrangement. I really like the design, and it brings something completely new to the Botanicals line.
The hanging ivy plant is also visually appealing to me, but I can’t justify the price. If the set becomes available later with good discounts, I’ll probably take a closer look at it anyway.

Now I’m curious to hear what you think.
