LEGO EDEKA FunPacks: The promotion continues
The LEGO FunPacks promotion at EDEKA has been running for a few days now, and after taking a closer look at the promotion, I’ve noticed a few details that are easy to overlook.
From August 24 to October 17, 2026, you’ll earn one loyalty point for every 5 euros you spend at participating EDEKA stores. With five loyalty points, you can get one of a total of eight exclusive LEGO FunPacks for 5.99 euros.
The points can then be redeemed until October 31, 2026 —as long as supplies last, of course.

FunPacks are also available without loyalty points
Something many people may not realize: You don’t necessarily have to collect loyalty points. According to EDEKA, you can buy FunPacks even without a full loyalty card. However , in that case, a FunPack costs 11.99 euros.
In the end, everyone has to decide for themselves whether it’s worth it. For 5.99 euros plus points, I find this promotion quite interesting as a little collectible story. For 11.99 euros, I personally would be much more hesitant.
The metal boxes are proving surprisingly popular
I find it interesting that it’s not just the small LEGO models themselves that are getting attention these days. The metal boxes, in particular, seem to be quite popular with many collectors.
The campaign is now also being featured internationally on Reddit. There, people are mainly talking about how the boxes look surprisingly high-quality and can be reused later, for example, to store Minifigures or small parts.

In my opinion, that’s exactly what makes this promotion a little more interesting than a typical polybag loyalty promotion: You don’t just get the small model, but also a collector’s box, cards, instructions, and other small items.
In the Rhine-Ruhr region, everything is done through the EDEKA app
For us in North Rhine-Westphalia, there is one more important point: In the Rhine-Ruhr region, loyalty points can only be earned and redeemed through the EDEKA app. The traditional loyalty card is not used there.
So if you shop at EDEKA regularly and want to take advantage of this promotion, you should collect your points directly through the app.
There’s also a LEGOLAND contest
To go along with the FunPack promotion, EDEKA is also holding a LEGO giveaway. Among other prizes, you can win two one-day tickets to LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort.

My Thoughts on the EDEKA LEGO Promotion
I still find the FunPacks interesting, especially as a little collecting activity. If you shop at EDEKA anyway, you’ll practically earn the points you need just by shopping, and you can pick up one of the exclusive packs for 5.99 euros.
Of course, no one can say for sure today whether these will actually become sought-after collector’s items someday. However, the combination of small, exclusive models and the metal boxes makes this promotion, at the very least, more unusual than many traditional loyalty programs.
On the other hand, if you simply want to buy regular LEGO sets as cheaply as possible, you should, as always, compare prices first. On Brick-Tracker, you can directly compare current deals, best prices, and discounts from numerous stores.
