Hi there!
Most of you are probably familiar with the LEGO Discovery Centers, such as the ones in Hamburg or Berlin. These are small indoor LEGO worlds and are usually only open to adults when accompanied by children—or during select events organized specifically for adults.
But the LEGO Discovery Center in Hamburg is now trying something new. Until December 16, 2026, adults can visit the Discovery Center even without children. This is a trial period designed to gauge how well the deals are received and whether they might be continued in the future or even offered at other locations.
Admission and Hours
Admission costs 23.50 euros, and you’ll have from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to explore the Discovery Center. This deal is valid Monday through Friday, excluding school breaks and holidays.
Which is, of course, really cool!
However, the website also notes that nothing about the program or the layout of the Discovery Center will change during this trial phase. It remains an attraction for children and is not specifically designed for adults.
But with so-called after-work events, it’s the other way around. Only adults are allowed—no children. The program is also tailored a bit more to an older audience.
In addition, these after-work events offer the chance to spend time with other LEGO fans after work, chat, and do a little networking.
One quick note to wrap things up
Unfortunately, the information on the official website is currently a bit contradictory. First, it mentions select Wednesdays starting at 3 p.m., while further down it lists Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. When booking tickets, however, it states that admission begins at 4 p.m. So the whole thing is still a bit confusing at the moment.
If the details change or we receive more specific information, we will, of course, post a brief update.

My Thoughts
Personally, I think it’s cool that adults can now stop by during the week and check it out. I personally thought it was a bit of a shame that, until now, you could only go in with kids.
Sooner or later, I’ll definitely visit the Discovery Center for BrickTracker and for myself, since I’ve actually never been inside one before. And I’m curious to see what it has to offer.
That’s definitely good news! Now every LEGO fan can spend a little time with the world’s best hobby—LEGO—even on weekdays after work, starting at 3 p.m.
Feel free to let me know in the comments what you think of this idea. Do you like that adults without kids can now visit the Discovery Center too? Or have you maybe even been there yourself?
See you next time!
