LEGO x Pokémon GO: The promotion runs through September 30
If you’re a fan of LEGO Pokémon and Pokémon GO, you should check out the ongoing store promotion again this September. Through September 30, 2026, participating LEGO Stores are offering several Pokémon GO promotions and even some free extras.
This has been going on since early August, but in my opinion, it’s easy to miss. So here’s a quick overview of what you can currently get.
Free SMART Play Day at the LEGO Store
LEGO fans will likely be particularly interested in the free, collectible SMART Play tag. At participating stores, you can take part in an interactive LEGO Pokémon SMART Play demo and receive a corresponding tag as well as a special stamp for your LEGO Pass.
Important: Availability is limited. If the tags are out of stock, there is no guarantee that more will be restocked.
Pikachu Raids and Stamp Rally
There’s also plenty happening right in Pokémon GO around participating LEGO Stores. Pikachu appears more frequently in Level 1 Raid Battles there. With a little luck, you might even encounter a Shiny Pikachu or one with a special background.
There’s also a special LEGO stamp rally. Players who visit participating stores can collect stamps at certain PokéStops and gyms and earn additional Pikachu encounters with special backgrounds.
LEGO Jacket, Hat, and Event Sticker
Anyone who opens Pokémon GO inside or near a participating store can also receive a limited-time event research task. The reward is a LEGO jacket for your avatar.
You can also redeem the code LEGOxPOKEMONGOxCAP through the Pokémon GO Webstore. This will give you another limited-time research task that lets you unlock a LEGO hat for your avatar.
In addition, there are event stickers that you can earn by spinning the photo discs at PokéStops near LEGO Stores and through event research.
A nice free bonus promotion for LEGO Pokémon fans
I wouldn’t go so far as to plan a huge trip across Germany just for this. But if you happen to have a LEGO Store nearby or were planning to stop by anyway, I think it’s definitely worth checking out.
The free SMART Play Tag and the avatar items, in particular, are nice extras that you can enjoy without having to buy a new set right away.
