LEGO Icons 11374 Pinball Machine: Classic Space Meets the Arcade
With the LEGO Icons 11374 Pinball Machine, LEGO is releasing a set on July 1, 2026, that combines two of my personal interests: Classic Space and vintage arcade machines.
I grew up playing with LEGO Space myself, and I still love machines like that to this day. I’d love to have a real pinball machine at home, too—but electric, full-size models are quickly prohibitively expensive. That’s why I think the idea of a working LEGO pinball machine is really cool.

LEGO 11374 Pinball Machine at a Glance
- Parts: 2,274
- MSRP: €209.99
- Release Date: July 1, 2026
- Minifigures: light blue Classic Space astronaut and Space Baby
- Dimensions: approximately 24 × 38 × 28 cm
I really like that idea
The color scheme is right up my alley. The model has a Classic Space look without simply being a reissue of an old spaceship. On top of that, it offers real play value with a ball, pinball flippers, a ramp, bumpers, and a small mechanism that moves the Space minifigures forward.
I also think the size makes sense. A full-size vending machine would be almost unaffordable and would take up an enormous amount of space. The tabletop model, on the other hand, can be set up in a hobby room or office and actually used from time to time.
Pros: Here’s why you should choose the LEGO Pinball Machine
- An unusual and creative gift set idea
- A fully functional mechanism instead of just a display model
- A well-executed Classic Space color scheme
- New light blue Space Astronaut and new Space Baby
- An interesting model with many Technic elements
- more compact than a real pinball machine
The minifigures, in particular, are likely to be a strong selling point for Classic Space collectors. However, I wouldn’t automatically assume that both will remain exclusive indefinitely. Many Space-themed colors have later appeared in other sets or through Pick a Brick.
Cons: In some places, I feel like something is missing
For me, the biggest weakness is the playing field. In some places, it looks quite dark and a bit empty. A real pinball machine thrives on colors, lights, sounds, and lots of little targets. The LEGO model offers only a fraction of that.
Lighting would have been a perfect fit for this set in particular. A sound effect or a slightly more elaborate scoring system would also have significantly enhanced the gameplay. Instead, the mechanics remain relatively simple.
On top of that, there are stickers and the high MSRP of €209.99. For that price, I would have expected more printed elements or additional features.
Play it once and then just put it on display?
That’s probably the most important question. The mechanics are exciting and are certainly fun to try out for the first time. Still, this pinball machine probably can’t replace a real arcade machine. It lacks variety, lights, sound, and a proper scoring system.
In my opinion, though, the set still works well as a combination of a building project, a display model, and a small play feature. You just have to keep in mind that the pinball machine is more of a LEGO model than a permanent play device.
Buy now or wait for a discount?
Personally, I’d wait for the MSRP. As much as I like the idea and the space-age look, over 200 € is a lot of money for the features it offers.
My price ranges:
209.99 €: only for big Classic Space and Pinball fans.
Under 180 €: starting to get interesting.
Under 160 €: a good price range.
Around 140–150 €: really exciting for me.
My Conclusion
Overall, I really like the LEGO Icons 11374 Pinball Machine. The concept is fresh, the color scheme works well, and the combination of Classic Space and arcade nostalgia really comes together.
But the set isn’t perfect. The playing field could have used more detail, there are no lights or sounds, and the price is high. Still, for me, the positives outweigh the negatives: LEGO is trying something new here, and I’d love to see more of these kinds of unusual models.
